Requirements for making membrane of membrane switch panel

As the panel of the membrane switch, it is mainly responsible for the decoration and protection of the product appearance, so the membrane used to make the panel should at least meet the following conditions:

① Good appearance: refers to that the surface of the film made of the panel is flat and glossy, without mechanical damage, scratches, inclusions, color spots and other surface defects.

② Good weather resistance: The panel layer is the surface layer of the membrane switch exposed to the natural environment, and its panel material should not be deformed, cracked, aged and discolored under certain natural environment conditions.

③ Good chemical resistance: The panel layer may touch different chemicals, but for most common chemicals, such as alcohols, ethers and mineral oils, it should have a certain tolerance.

④ Good dimensional stability: the membrane switch requires to make the membrane of the panel, and there is no obvious change in the size within a certain temperature range (generally - 40 ℃~55 ℃).

⑤ Elastic requirements: the thin panel layer is required to have a certain weak resilience. At the same time, the elastic deformation of the membrane switch should be small, which can be judged by the elongation of the material. Generally speaking, the elongation is large, the elastic deformation is also large, and the elasticity is poor.

According to the above requirements, the films commonly used in the panel usually include polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polyamine ester and other films.
