Color mixing principle of membrane switch - three primary colors

Release Date : 2022-11-04Hits:10

Dispensing ink is an important work in the membrane switch process. How well this work is done is directly related to the printing quality of the membrane switch. Because bright color, good brightness and accurate hue are the basic requirements of the membrane switch, in order to achieve this requirement, the printing ink must be accurately prepared. Therefore, operators should master color knowledge and inking technology.

1. Grasp the change rule of three primary colors, so as to achieve accurate ink mixing

Any color can be made by mixing different proportions of the three primary colors (magenta, yellow and green). The change of the hue of the ink is precisely based on this rule. For example, the three primary colors ink can become black (approximately) after mixing and blending in equal amounts. Three primary color inks are mixed in equal amounts and white inks of different proportions are added to form light gray inks of different colors.

If the three primary colors ink is mixed according to various proportions, it can be blended into a variety of intermediate colors or multiple colors of different hue, but its hue is biased towards the primary color L phase with large proportion. If two primary color inks are mixed equally, they can become standard intermediate colors; The two primary color inks can be blended in different proportions to form a variety of intermediate colors of different hue, but their hue tends to be the primary color hue with a large proportion. In addition, any color of the ink, adding white ink after its hue appears brighter. On the contrary, after adding black ink, its hue becomes dark. The above mixing of primary ink into various colors is based on the theory of subtractive method of three primary colors.

2. Analyze the color of the original

Use complementary color theory to correct color deviation and improve inking effect. After receiving the membrane switch color draft, first of all, carefully appreciate and analyze the various colors in the original, and measure the proportion of the ink hue to be adjusted. The analysis of color manuscript is to master a basic principle, that is, the three primary colors are the basic colors of any ink color. With the change rule of the three primary colors, any complex color can be blended out except for the gold and silver color. However, in the process of technological practice, it is not enough to rely on the three primary colors of ink to produce countless ink colors. Because, in fact, the pigments used to manufacture ink are not very standard, and even each batch of ink produced inevitably has a certain degree of difference in color. Therefore, ink such as medium blue, dark blue, light blue, light blue, medium yellow, dark yellow, light yellow, golden red, orange red, dark red, light red, black and green should be added appropriately in actual work to achieve the required ink hue. There are many kinds of ink, but no matter how, except for the three primary colors, other colors are used to supplement the shortage of the three primary colors. Any complex color will always change within the range of three primary colors. As long as this principle is mastered, inking will not be a problem. After the color analysis determines the main color and auxiliary color ink and their proportions, they can be mixed. However, if there is deviation in the hue, the hue can be corrected by the complementary color theory. For example, if a certain hue is too green, a small amount of red ink can be added to correct it. On the contrary, if the red smell is too heavy, you can add blue ink to correct it

3. Blending of intermediate and multiple colors

The so-called intermediate color is a mixture of two primary color inks. For example, the hue of red plus yellow is orange; Green can be obtained by adding yellow and blue; Red and blue can turn purple. Two pairs can produce many kinds of intermediate colors. Namely, the primary colors of peach red and yellow are mixed in 1:1 to obtain a bright red phase; If mixed in 1:3, dark yellow can be obtained; If 3:1 is mixed, golden red phase can be obtained. If the primary color yellow and blue are mixed equally, green can be obtained; If 3:1 is mixed, emerald green can be obtained; If 4:1 is mixed, apple green can be obtained; If mixed in 1:3, dark green can be obtained. If the primary color pink and blue are mixed in 1:3, dark blue purple can be obtained; If the mixture is 3:1, the approximate green lotus color can be obtained. The compound color comes from the mixing and blending of three primary color inks. If they are mixed in different proportions, many kinds of multicolor can be obtained. For example, primary colors such as pink, yellow and blue can be mixed in equal amounts to obtain approximate black; Two portions of peach red, one portion of yellow and one portion of blue can be mixed to obtain brownish red; Four portions of peach red, one portion of yellow and one portion of blue can be mixed to obtain reddish brown; If 1 portion of pink and yellow, 2 portions of blue, olive color can be prepared; One portion of pink and one portion of yellow, and four portions of blue can be mixed to obtain dark green, etc.

4. Operation method of mixing ink

When preparing ink, determine which kinds of ink should be used to prepare properly according to the hue of the original. For example, to adjust the lake blue ink, it can be prepared by visual inspection and practical experience. White ink is the main color and peacock blue is the secondary color. If you want a deeper shade, you can add a little magenta. If you want to adjust the olive yellow green ink color, you can confirm that it is mainly white ink, add light yellow and peacock blue and slightly add pink. As long as the main color is determined, other colors are auxiliary colors, which should be added gradually and evenly. Then, two pieces of small materials (the same as the printing materials) are used, one of which is coated with a little of the adjusted ink, and the other is used to scrape it to the thickness of the printed ink layer, that is, compare it with the original to see whether it is appropriate. When comparing the sample, it is necessary to look at the relatively thin and light parts of the ink layer of the scraping sample to see more accurately. When adjusting the ink, we should also master a principle that is to use less ink of different colors as far as possible. That is to say, if you can use two kinds of ink to adjust, you should not use three kinds of ink to adjust, so as not to reduce the gloss of the ink. On the other hand, the scraped ink color should be slightly darker than the primary color, so that the printed color sample can be more accurate. After the ink color of the sample is adjusted, the ink can be adjusted in batches according to their respective ink proportion to ensure the ink quality and improve the work efficiency.

To sum up, as long as we master the change law of the three primary colors, apply color knowledge, seriously practice and analyze, we will be able to quickly and accurately deploy color inks with excellent accuracy, bright colors, brightness and good printability, laying a solid foundation for improving the quality of membrane switches.
